I’m an experienced and proven consumer marketing operator with twenty years experience in consumer brand marketing (Graze, Swoon Editions, Wool and the Gang and Tesco). I have significant experience in running all elements of digital businesses where I was Head of UK Online at graze and at Tesco I ran a >£500m category as a Commercial Buyer. Most recently, as a Managing Director, I transformed the Wool and the Gang business over two years from a serial loss making entity generating <£5m revenue to a high growth dynamic brand delivering >£9m revenue and >£1m EBITDA. As Chief Digital Officer to the DMC group I rebuilt the digital infrastructure for all the group brands with combined project spend of >£1m. I’ve expanded my advisory capabilities in the past three years acting as a freelance digital consultant to successful companies such as Be Military Fit, Grenade and Catapult Sports. In addition I completed a number of projects for the private equity company Lion Capital, including advisory and due diligence support for the purchase of the DMC Group and Wool and the Gang. I’ve always added significant value in these roles, going above and beyond the original scope, and this resulted in them appointing me into a permanent role when the group was acquired. There’s a huge number of businesses I could add significant value to with my broad background. Contact: Noel on noeleves@gmail.com
I have been a Chartered Accountant in practice for over 40 years (37 as a partner) advising SMEs and professional partnerships on all aspects of their finances. During that time I developed a specialism in healthcare but also have wide experience in property, builders merchants, pharmaceuticals, importing and engineering services. I have been a quasi-FD to companies that don’t need a full-time FD. Agenda setting and chairing meeting. In many cases I have helped the owners realise their ambitions of selling their business – grooming, tax planning, negotiations (including with private equity) and due diligence. My experience in healthcare means I am well placed to advise GP practices and corporate entities providing healthcare services, both inside the NHS and privately. I am looking for an NED position in established SMEs where I can help develop opportunities and avoid the pitfalls. I am not seeking to replace “the accountant” but to be a sounding board to review and challenge. South-east based. Quote: ADB.
